⁴⁸ This is the inheritance of the tribe of the descendants of Dan according to their clans—these cities and their villages.

An Inheritance for Joshua

⁴⁹ When they had finished distributing the land as an inheritance by assigning borders, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them. ⁵⁰ According to the command of the Lord, they gave him the city that he had requested, Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. He built up the city and lived in it.
